Clarendon Executive’s brief was to recruit a new senior team. This comprised of a number of new roles: Chief Executive; Director of Customer Services; Director of Finance; Director of Product Development; Head of Marketing and Communications; and a Head of HR. These roles reflected an ambition of the client to change the way the organisation provided its services, and a desire to diversify and enhance its products and services. The key challenge was finding the right skill mix for these roles and identifying candidates that could combine commercial know-how with a third sector ethos.
Clarendon Executive’s team worked closely with the Board and newly appointed Chief Executive to fully understand Co-Ownership’s future strategy, the culture of the organisation and requirements of the new roles. Clarendon Executive worked with the Board and Chief Executive to specify these new roles and develop a recruitment process to select appropriate candidates. Clarendon searched across the housing and financial services sectors to identify suitable candidates and carried out the initial and second shortlisting to provide candidates for interview by the client.
