Collections Manager - Financial Services
Our client is a significant international fintech that is launching a major UK “buy now / pay later” consumer finance business which is designed around the core needs of today's shoppers, retailers, and small and medium enterprises. The company has big ambitions for growth in the UK and Irish markets and is building a business that really challenges some of the existing players.
We are seeking to appoint a talented Collections Manager for the UK business, based out of Belfast. The Collections Manager will be responsible for ensuring the company’s collections strategy is optimised to ensure it deal with customers fairly and in accordance with UK regulations and legislation. Given the start-up nature of the UK business, the role will be pivotal in designing the collections strategy and must ensure that processes support the product and customer strategy.
Our ideal candidate will have collections experience within UK financial services and bring a strong understanding of collections systems, strategy, and lifecycle as well as commercial impacts of the process. You will be adept at managing relationships, both internal and external, and be confident in formulating and communicating ideas to senior management that will improve the collections process and reputation of the business.
You must be “data-driven” and highly analytical, with the capability to track data and trends that will generate insights while identifying opportunities to improve collections strategies.
