Our client, a global managed services solutions specialist is seeking to appoint a Director of Operations and Technology Delivery for a division of their business offering large scale operational, implementation and execution programmes.

The Director, reporting directly to Partner, will be a core member of the business division leadership team and will contribute to the strategic direction and operational delivery of the business.

The candidate will be responsible for strategically planning and leading the core operational support and technology infrastructure that supports the entire business to ensure quality delivery of a range of large-scale operational programmes, to drive innovation and ensure the delivery teams are provided with leading technologies that truly transform business operations.

The successful candidate will have regular, senior, client interaction and must demonstrate a credible track record of successful operational and technology leadership and gravitas in dealing with senior and executive stakeholders.

The successful candidate should possess the following characteristics and skills:

  • Demonstrable experience at a senior leadership level; shaping and leading high performing operational environments, large scale projects and running an effective people, process, technology and support infrastructure, preferably in a professional service, outsourced or related sector
  • Proven experience of successfully leading high performing technology teams within a complex organisation including building and maintaining strong relationships between technology teams, broader business functions and external organisations.
  • Demonstrable experience at senior level in delivering commercial performance and cost-efficient operational solutions
  • Strong evidence of having successfully influenced business transformation and ensuring high standards of quality and delivery through use of frameworks and methodologies, including the application of innovative technologies to drive performance improvement.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, including demonstrated leadership behaviours, thought leadership, mentoring, and strong employee engagement
