The company’s drive for excellence underpinned by strong family values has enabled the business to earn a reputation for the highest levels of customer service to the independent retail sector. Continued focus on innovation, investment in design and award-winning marketing has now created a business that, despite a challenging retail climate, is very well positioned to deliver significant further growth.
Operating as an integral part of the Executive Management Team, and as a key support to the Managing Director, the Finance Director will implement a KPI framework across the business that will provide strong operational focus that drives profit and sales growth across the channels & brands. When implementing an effective financial governance and decision-making framework, you will recognise that entrepreneurial flair, business instincts and taking risks are also important components of success in retail and within a family owned business culture.
The role requires a talented and highly commercial qualified accountant with around 10 years’ post-qualification senior management experience within a fast-paced industrial or commercial environment and in an impactful role where you provide the senior management team with sound advice through business growth, restructure or transformation.

Experience in a very commercial environment within a business that has exposure to Fashion, Marketing, Brand Building, Retailing or Online Retailing would be a distinct advantage.
The Board will value an approach that not only shapes the commercial direction financially, ensures compliance and effective corporate governance practice but retains the flexibility that allows the business to be responsive in what is a very fast moving and dynamic market.
