Due to the continued business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Lead Business Development Manager to take the organisations growth strategy to the next level with its independent retailers.

The Lead Business Development Manager will train and support the team to develop and grow new business in Northern Ireland through new stores and store conversions, into the retail brands – Centra, Mace & SuperValu. The business development territory covers the whole of Northern Ireland and includes green field sites and retailers trading with competitor brands.

The successful candidate should possess the following characteristics and skills:

  • 5 years sales and/or business development experience with the ability to own the deal closing process employing a combination of contract terms and conditions knowledge, complex deal structure experience and negotiation skills.
  • Validated ability to consistently generate revenue and exceed quota by executing process for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business as well as and not limited to growing an existing install base.
  • High level of business and commercial acumen with experience of managing budgets / cost control and planning, prioritising and organising work to meet targets.
  • Educated to degree level in a related area with a relevant professional qualification (or equivalent evidence of experience)
