In September 2018, Ulster Carpets unveiled a new dyehouse and energy centre in Portadown, the first stage of a £40 million capital investment and regeneration programme. The state-of-the-art facility has replaced traditional dyeing methods with innovative technology which will improve energy efficiency. This sets the precedent for the future for Ulster Carpets with plans for a new Finishing Line and Weaving Technology in Portadown.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role will encompass full responsibility for manufacturing and operations, continuous improvement and driving change in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will support strategies, goals and polices established by the Holding Board and make a significant contribution to the Board of Directors.
